Valmiki Jayanti is celebrated on 17-10-2024 to honour Maharishi Valmiki, the revered sage, and the author of the epic Ramayana. Valmiki is believed to be the first poet or Adi Kavi in Sanskrit literature. His contribution to Indian culture is immense.
