MENTORING SYSTEM

The institution has adopted a well defined Mentoring System for Students, at undergraduate levels, with a view to:

  • Give individual care and attention.
  • Proper guidance and encouragement to achieve excellence in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Redress the students’ grievances.
  • Render equitable services to all the students.
At the beginning of the academic year faculty members are nominated as mentors for a definite group of students and their role and responsibilities in molding students’ career and future endeavors are briefed in the meeting.

This mechanism serves the purpose in the following ways:

  • To improve students’ academic performance.
  • To identify and understand the strengths and weaknesses of the students and chalk out plans and strategies to overcome the weaknesses, if any.
  • To Counsel and guide the students.
  • To organize orientation programmes seminars and workshops in order to aware the students about the activities of the Institution.
