REPORT ON ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR B.COM FIRST SEMESTER STUDENTS

An Orientation Programme for the B.Com First Semester students was successfully conducted on 30th July 2025 at the college premises. The programme was organized with the objective of welcoming the newly admitted students and familiarizing them with the academic environment, values, and culture of the institution.

The programme commenced with Parents’ Registration, ensuring active involvement of parents in the academic journey of their wards. This was followed by the auspicious Saraswati Pooja, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for wisdom, knowledge, and success in the students’ academic life.

A special highlight of the programme was the Paada Pooja of parents performed by the students, symbolizing gratitude, respect, and acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by parents. This traditional ritual instilled moral values and emotional bonding among students and their parents.

The entire programme was conducted under the guidance and leadership of the Principal, Shri Amrut Jakkali, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, ethical values, and holistic development. He encouraged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution and wished them success in their academic pursuits.

The orientation programme concluded on a positive note, leaving students and parents with a sense of confidence, inspiration, and strong connection with the institution.
