Introduction
An educational visit to the Sub Jail was organized for the B.Com students on 21st January 2026. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure about the functioning of the correctional system, prison administration, and the role of various government departments in maintaining law and order. A total of 36 B.Com students participated in the visit.
Objectives of the Visit
The main objectives of the Sub Jail visit were:
- To provide practical knowledge about the working environment of a correctional institution.
- To understand the administrative procedures followed in jail management.
- To create awareness among students about the importance of discipline, law, and social responsibility.
- To help students understand the rehabilitation and reformative approach towards prisoners.

Visit Details
During the visit, the students were introduced to the general functioning of the Sub Jail.
