INVESTMENT AWARENESS AND SECURITY MARKET FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP

An Investment Awareness and Security Market Foundation Certification Workshop was conducted on 11th March 2025 for all B.Com students of KLE Society’s Degree College, Gokak. The workshop was led by Mr. Nandan Gulaldavar, Founder of NIV Financial Services, a reputed name in financial literacy and wealth management.

The objective of the workshop was to educate students on the fundamentals of investing, the structure of financial markets, risk management, and to promote informed participation in the securities market. The session covered key topics such as equity and debt instruments, mutual funds, investment strategies, regulatory frameworks, and investor rights and responsibilities.

Mr. Gulaldavar’s practical approach and real-life examples helped students understand the importance of financial planning and how to navigate the Indian securities market. The workshop also provided guidance on obtaining the Security Market Foundation Certificate, enhancing students’ profiles for future financial careers.

The session was highly interactive, and students actively participated in discussions and Q&A sessions. The workshop succeeded in its goal of spreading financial awareness and equipping students with foundational investment knowledge.
