\nThe institution has adopted a well defined Student Grievance Redressal Mechanism for Students, at undergraduate level and formed a Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) with a view to:<\/p>\n

- To set up a mechanism for speedy and expeditious resolution of the grievance.<\/li>\n
- To provide an appropriate counseling to the students in the process of resolving the grievance.<\/li>\n
- To provide an opportunity for the students to freely express their grievance, with utmost anonymity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Objectives of SGRC<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

- To deal with the complex situations in a tactful manner to lessen the condition felt to be oppressive or dissatisfied.<\/li>\n
- Encouraging the Students to express their grievances \/ problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.<\/li>\n
- To Ensure that all student complaints are heard, addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

SGRC and its responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

- The Student Grievance Redressal Committee shall consider all grievances submitted in writing by an individual member of the Institution regarding Problems and any other alleged injustice done to an student\/faculty while discharging his\/her duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The grievances can be in the nature of<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

- Grievances that is academic in nature.<\/li>\n
- Against faculty.<\/li>\n
- Grievance related to examination.<\/li>\n
- Grievance related to summer internship & placements.<\/li>\n
- Grievance related to amenities & services.<\/li>\n
- Grievance related to stay at hostel.<\/li>\n
- Grievance related to finance.<\/li>\n
- Grievance related to student conflicts.<\/li>\n
- Harassment by fellow students or the faculty\/ staff etc.<\/li>\n
- The grievance redressal cell Should Convene meetings periodically and take steps to redress any related issues\u00a0 The students may put up a grievance in writing or through e-mail. The grievance cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.<\/li>\n
- To resolve the complaint in a manner that is fair to accept by all members and The victim.<\/li>\n
- Finally,To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
